How to play

Repair the English and German routes together. Each has three middle stations. Choose words from the five-word menus; each word may appear once per lane. The prompt names the intended associations. Corresponding rows must carry the same meaning.
Check both routes when ready. A solve earns 100 points minus 20 for each earlier wrong check. You have three different checks. Duplicate checks or repeated words use no check. Reset edits keeps earlier checks. Reveal closes the puzzle for 0. The translation notes are free learning aids; these are finite reviewed chains, not claims that every other association is wrong.

Alignment example: English “gift” translates to German “Geschenk”. German “Gift” means poison. Matching the spelling alone would misalign that row. The free translation notes list the intended meanings for this board.
