Legacy custom rules: free reset and older date/route-scoped device progress. The date changes the identifier, not the route content. Practice fallback ranks, routes and weights are authored, not measured global popularity or semantic distances. New wrong guesses, including unsupported words, use a life. A hint subtracts up to 20 from the current balance once per station; using it at zero costs no later points. These heuristic sparks are separate from the authored edition.
Provider words, route order and stored ranks stay exactly as supplied, including the English fallback vocabulary. German interface labels do not translate or reassign those words. Choose the authored German edition for German puzzles.
