Relation Alchemist
Around the house
Read each situation, choose a possible relation and explain it. For example, hammer + carpenter can be tool/user when the carpenter uses the hammer. If an important meaning or cause is unknown, choose Insufficient evidence and name what you would need to know.
Three authored English sets offer six situations each. They are not retrieved Contextoid evidence. Compare the example readings after your review; they are suggestions, not a single marked answer.

Choose a proposed relation for each pair and write the reading that supports it. If the words give you too little evidence, choose Insufficient evidence. This workshop checks that your draft is complete; it cannot confirm semantic truth. Loaded list positions show where the words came from, not why a typed relation holds. Progress is not saved; reloading or loading pairs clears your drafts.

After a short shower, water is standing in a hollow on the path.
After a short shower, water is standing in a hollow on the path.. Cause/effect is a possible reading: rain can collect in the hollow. The timing alone does not rule out a leaking pipe.

One sheet lists ingredients and cooking steps. Another lists dishes a customer can order.
One sheet lists ingredients and cooking steps. Another lists dishes a customer can order.. Near miss is a useful comparison: both concern food, but a recipe explains preparation and a menu offers choices. Same domain is also defensible if that is the relation you explain.
A photograph shows a sunflower beside a bicycle. There is no caption explaining why they are together.
A photograph shows a sunflower beside a bicycle. There is no caption explaining why they are together.. Insufficient evidence is reasonable for a stronger relation: the photograph establishes proximity, not cause or purpose. A clearly limited place-based reading is also possible.
A musician draws a bow across the strings of each instrument.
