One word broke the chain. Find it. Fix it.
Three repairs to crack the case.
How to play
Neighboring words connect through a familiar meaning, phrase or use. Exactly one of the three middle words was replaced. The two end words are always right.
Choose the word that doesn't belong, then a replacement that connects to both neighbors. Check your repair when you're ready. You have three different station-and-replacement guesses.
A solve earns 100, 80 or 60 points on your first, second or third guess. The free hint marks your result as assisted. Revealing earns zero points and finishes the case.
